Apologies for getting to this post a month after the fact.

We learn to appreciate so much when we care for our elders as we once had to care for our children. All blessings to you and yours as love grows in the face of health that fails.

P.S.: Spell check is the little box with the ABC and checkmark in the “Visual” edit window’s toolbar. When you click the box, it turns the spell check on or off. When it’s on, suspect words get a red line under them. You have to fix them yourself — it doesn’t offer you possible substitutions. Once spell check is turned on, it stays on until you turn it off. So, turn it on when you start a post and red underlines will mark every suspect spelling as you go.

P.P.S.: I’m adopted, too, and it’s wonderful to have two strong families, one with the strength to let you go and one with the strength to take you in.

It’s so awesome that you’re teaching your children at such a young age to care about those around them. I try to do the same – look for opportunities, though, sometimes they just happen. Love you bunches!

oh, also you’ll want to add categories for your actual posts. that’s another thing that knows no limits. you can create categories called family, books, humor, inspiration or whatever. and each time you write a post, you’ll click on as many categories as the post fits in. that way people can read only the posts in a particular category once you have several posts under your belt.

in the beginning i always forgot to choose categories, but i got in the habit fairly quickly.

Hey, welcome to the blogosphere! in your blogroll, you can add a category called “links” or “sites I like” or whatever. then, each time you add a link, you can choose whether to put it in the blogroll or the other category. and you can change “blogroll” to “my favorite blogs” or whatever you like. you can add categories to your heart’s content.
